Card Assembly Ideas!

This idea sheet outlines some easy ways of putting together cards with your rubber stamped art. The cards shown here are from Ink-N-Rubber Expressions  and are shown on the card gallery.

Using Corner Punches

Punch Overlays!

In this card, There are three puch overlays!  The dark green cardstock between the white and  yellow colors really sets off the stamped image. The yellow cardstock layer brings out the color of  the sunflowers.

Incorporating short phrases into your card front designs

Hang a sign on it!

In this card (click picture for larger version!), a sign was hung on the wall by the window.... It was hung with  wraphia and a round punch dot to make it look like a nail. It says: "It's been a long time... What's new?"

Stamps Used: Window with Flower Box (GS-104), Garden Spot Collection
What's New? (W-134), Thoughts Just for You

Just put the greeting on the outside!

Here we simply stamped "Best Wishes" on a coordinating piece of cardstock, embossed in Silver to make the words stand out, and bordered with a silver leaf pen. Then the sign was attached to the front of the card.

Placing the words on the outside of the cards can help balance your design, and leaves more room to write on the inside!

Attach it with Photo Corners

You can mount your piece with photo corners. This may not be very durable, so you may want to actually adhere the card and corners with double stick tape or a glue stick.
