Materials Needed:

Coneflower Square Stamp (BC-107)
Mini Floral Stamps Set (BC-112)
Botanical Collection by Lisa Larsen
Ink-N-Rubber Expressions, LLC

Vellum paper
Markers
Gold Pigment ink pad
Gold embossing powder
Gold leaf Pen
White card stock
Pink ribbon
Sentiment Stamp (Best Wishes)

Instructions:

A. Preparing the papers

1. Fold an 8.5x11" of vellum in half, and then half again. It should now look like a 1/4 fold card (jacket).
2. Cut an 8.5x11" of white cardstock in half (5.5x8.5"), fold in half. This will fit on the inside of the vellum jacket.
3. Cut a piece of white cardstock smaller than a 1/4 sheet. This will be the piece of cardstock that gets layered on the inside of the card, and will show through the window.

B. Stamping the inside panel

Stamp the coneflower square on the top half of the small piece of white cardstock. You may emboss and color as desired. Stamp "Best Wishes" below it. Outline cardstock with gold pen.

C. Layering the cardstock and vellum and cutting out the window

Center this stamped piece of cardstock on the inside of the vellum jacket(don't adhere yet). Close it so you can see the stamped image through the  vellum. Lightly trace the square surrounding the coneflower.

Remove the stamped image from the vellum. Open the vellum jacket so it is folded in half (like an open card). Insert the white cardstock 1/2 sheet in the middle of the folded vellum. Cut the square you traced over the front of the card (through two layers of vellum and one of white cardstock). Outline in gold on the front.

The idea is that if you put the stamped piece of cardstock on the inside of the card, it should show through the window in the front. The reason for the white cardstock to be sandwiched between the vellum layers is so that the writing on the inside of the card won't show through.

D. Stamping and coloring the background on the front of the card

Stamp random miniature florals on the front of the vellum card. Emboss.

Turn the piece over, and color the image with your markers. heat set.

C. Assembly

Your card should be composed as follows:
1. vellum folded in half
2. 1/2 sheet of white cardstock sandwiched between the vellum. Align windows
3. Adhere stamped coneflower cardstock piece to the inside right of the card (on the vellum).
4. Fold in half to close card
5. Tie ribbon around the folded edge and tie in a bow.
That's it!!
